Due to recent events, I'm going to be reserving the Pitch later this week to run an emergency try-out for a reserve Beater for our team. I know we've got Hugo as a reservist, but I'm not sure I want him in the Beater's spot if it's needed- better to have an extra reservist when we need the coverage. The wait is over, my dears, and it is official:

Hufflepuff will be playing Slytherin on 18 December!
We've drawn the second match of the year (Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are playing on 16 October), which I suppose has good and bad to it.  Personally, I think you all know I'd rather be out there, playing properly-- but if we've nearly two months to get this team into shape, I've no doubt we can be damn near perfect by then.

Well, since I've already spilled it to our dear Tiberius, I suppose there's no harm in saying it here as well- I will be personifying the ever-lovely Marylin Monroe at the Halloween Ball this year.  It seems fitting, I think- gentlemen prefer blondes, and all that.
